Paperwork and more paperwork

Today I spent most of the morning compiling paperwork to prepare to get notarized.  In a matter of a few weeks our Dossier will be submitted.  This will be a big relief for our family knowing our documents are on their way and we will be registered.  Once registered  we will be given a travel date.  So right now we have to  plan and save for our trip.  I have already began packing away things we will need or trip one which we will be there a total of almost 3 weeks.  Then we return home and wait for a court date. :O)))

So much to do before we travel.  After the tree totaling our car  this has set us back some in funds.  so we are back to working hard in saving.  Shortly I will be fundraising items or our adoption.  Airline tickets are one of the biggest expensive  and making multiple trips adds up quickly.  Please again share our adoption journey with others in hopes we raise the necessary funds to bring both children home..God Bless

No words

There are just some days where there are no words that can  take away from pain and heart ache. This pass week we were robbed, our precious cat got ill, once again funds lost.  Still we are blessed.  A neighbor is killed by two young man breaking into a neighbors car, a man loses his girlfriend and his unborn son a day before his child is delivered.  My friend's baby girl has open heart surgery and she waits outside the recovery room, a baby boy takes his last breathe and my son struggles to live another day. Very hard to understand why bad things happen to good people and little children.  A 14 year old girl with a headache dies within three days of being diagnose with a rare form of cancer.  Her mother struggles to understand why her daughter had to be chosen to earn her wings.  So much potential, and such a beautiful young woman with the kindest heart.  Today I watched as my 5 year old daughter looks into a mirror and then ask if her doctor ...

Butterflies

Even old people get butterflies. As our newest little 9 year old points at the ceiling and out comes her first words in English to me. Butterflies Momma, Butterflies... In the dead of winter with temperatures of 20 below I stare at the ceiling.  Not thinking I look up. In the spilt second in time my mind wonders.  Even in an orphanage a child can have humor and imagination.  Maybe being caught off guard or in the moment it makes a person think. On the outside of this old worn out building a few dying bushes.  And from the street it looks like any other old building. The caregivers and other children inside are the only family they had for years. This is the only place our children knew as home. I love spring and soon butterflies will fill the air.  Maybe the Windows will open and a few of these fragile flying angels  will fly inside.  For many of these children seeing a butterflies will be only through a panel of glass. This year marks 2...
