The paperchase has began :O)))

Ellie and friends
With the new FBI prints beginning processed and soon to arrive back this week we go to the next step.
All the new documents have been printed up and waiting for signatures and notary seals.  Next updated medicals for both Gary and I, 4 new marriage licenses/with apostles and our home ownership paperwork.
One document at a time and we will soon be able to send off our remaining documents for our Dossier.   This is our little fancy pants in the middle. I can not wait to travel this winter to meet her and her brother Clyde.  The kids at home are very excited that this next year both children will be home shortly after Christmas.  Counting the months till we are able to travel to meet the both of them.   During this time we are working on saving the funds for our travel and team fees.  Believe or not I have already started a check list on what we will need to bring with us.  Traveling in the winter many heavier luggage and extra luggage.. Each extra piece will add up quickly.  Our FSP on RR is still standing the same and we are in great need of the funds to travel and pay both children's facilitator fees.  Praying for a miracle in funds to help us over this mountain of worries.  My worries I hand over to my Lord to guide us through our adoption of these little ones....

Delays and worries

2 weeks waiting  She's a very happy girl.

Full of emotions today

I am get back to blogging our journey this week and share some photos and our journey. Today I found myself missing our new little ones.  I wonder if they know we are coming back for the both of them.  Many tears as we walked out the door and said our goodbyes. This adoption has been a hard one for many reasons.  Updating documents and not knowing which child we were meant to adopt.  Honestly I just did not know what to expect once we were there. I knew this time deep inside I feel nervous and also excited.  With prior adoptions things felt so much differently than this one.  Maybe because this journey has been also a year in waiting. When we first met Barbara in hopped a little girl full of life and smiles.  As I watched her I noticed she was as nervous as I was.  But shortly we got to know one another.  I knew then inside as she sat across from us that this was our child, our daughter.. I felt inside love for a child I only met for...

One day closer to coming home

After arriving in Kiev we went right to bed.  Between moving quickly from one plane to another then a 30 minute ride to our hotel. With the time difference we had to rest once arriving.  Being up over 26 hours we were exhausted. Prior to leaving the US I had to visit my doctor.  Not any good news to share.  Only some complications had arrised.  Staying with Jake a week at the hospital and him checking out the day prior I had to have another check up myself.  Unfortunately my cancer has spread.  Problems now with blood pressure, thyroid disease and diabetes. Being placed on news meds prior to travel is not working out to well. It was awful arriving in Kiev sitting in a wheel chair.  Niko met us and drove us to get Greyson's birth records.  It was a 4 hour drive there n back   We waited 3 hours to have it printed. Greyson's birth Certificate So much left to do. Tomorrow we head to Mauripol.
