Sage, oh sweet Sage

I met this boy from afar.  As he stood across the room where Barbara did her Karate stood a young boy with the biggest blue eyes.  Instant love... I knew then this is my son.. I love him.. It did not take long I wanted to know all about him... I soon found out he is listed as Sage on Reece's Rainbow.  A little bit about Sage.. He received a donor kidney and this is his only kidney.  His health we were told is not good and he needs medication which is not available in country.  Monthly it is mailed in and paid for by a wonder sponsor Serge whim I am blessed to have met years prior. As I watched Sage work out, he knew we were watching him.  You could tell he was trying hard to impress us with his skills.  As if he was trying to tell us he wants to show us he is strong and also behind his strength is a boy who wants a family.. I was told he had been wanting to find his mom.. His mom left him when he was younger.  When we first met him he was shy, but he opened up quickly.  He is ful

Full of emotions today

I am get back to blogging our journey this week and share some photos and our journey. Today I found myself missing our new little ones.  I wonder if they know we are coming back for the both of them.  Many tears as we walked out the door and said our goodbyes. This adoption has been a hard one for many reasons.  Updating documents and not knowing which child we were meant to adopt.  Honestly I just did not know what to expect once we were there. I knew this time deep inside I feel nervous and also excited.  With prior adoptions things felt so much differently than this one.  Maybe because this journey has been also a year in waiting. When we first met Barbara in hopped a little girl full of life and smiles.  As I watched her I noticed she was as nervous as I was.  But shortly we got to know one another.  I knew then inside as she sat across from us that this was our child, our daughter.. I felt inside love for a child I only met for a minute.  As if they had handled her to us

Trip one, we met our kds

I am sorry I had not posted during our travels.  After arriving our adoption took many turns and twists.  God had other plans for our family and also for two little children,   Meet our new son Sage.  He is 11 years old and he is the sweetest boy ever.  He needs immediate medical care due to losing his kidneys.  He had received a kidney from a donor and is on meds to keep his kidney functioning.  I will post a better photo after we have court.. Our daughter we posted previous we were blessed to have met also.   She is a toot and she will fit nicely in our family of little toots also.  I will post updated photos shortly.  We are due to return for court in March.. So please share our family and our new children so we can raise the funds so both these children can come home quickly.  Barbara is needing immediate surgery on her spine and right leg.  Praying we can save her little leg and repair her spine with out difficulties. Again we need everyone's prayers.. God bless
