Paperwork and more paperwork

Today I spent most of the morning compiling paperwork to prepare to get notarized.  In a matter of a few weeks our Dossier will be submitted.  This will be a big relief for our family knowing our documents are on their way and we will be registered.  Once registered  we will be given a travel date.  So right now we have to  plan and save for our trip.  I have already began packing away things we will need or trip one which we will be there a total of almost 3 weeks.  Then we return home and wait for a court date. :O))) So much to do before we travel.  After the tree totaling our car  this has set us back some in funds.  so we are back to working hard in saving.  Shortly I will be fundraising items or our adoption.  Airline tickets are one of the biggest expensive  and making multiple trips adds up quickly.  Please again share our adoption journey with others in hopes we raise the necessary funds to bring both children home..God Bless

Update on tree verses car

Sad to say our car was a great one and we now have to say goodbye.  The tree decided it would destroy our car beyond repairs.

UPDATES ON OUR ADOPTION

Here is a current photo of our sweet Ellie In two weeks we will once again be finger printed for our FBI update & apostatized. Once our FBI's are received back we will then update all the remaining documents.  Hoping to resubmit our updated Dossier in July.  Our family is great needs of funds to update our dossier.  On our adoption blog is a PAYPAL link where you can directly donate.  These donations will help with the cost of resubmitting our Dossier.  You can also donate to our adoption link on Reece's Rainbow.  Every donation is greatly appreciate and our family thanks you and God bless, The Davis' Family..

Trees and cars do not mix

With every adoption we/I seem to have the worse luck. :'O( After a long day at the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic I decided to spend the remainder of the day cleaning out my car.  After four long hours  I had it sparkling and walked away proud of how my car looked.  Normally I usually work cleaning inside but today the kids and I decided to spend sometime outside. Later that evening and a very loud cracking sound one of our tree's biggest branches decided to break loose. Today we find out our car is a total lost.  Hard to understand just why things like this has got to happen. Today I spend most of the day sweeping up glass and then waiting to hear back from our insurance company.  My life is like a dance.  Two steps forward and another three steps back... Why when one saves and saves bad things happen?  Very thankful the children were not still outside cleaning the car, it could have been much worse.  The car can be replaced, it is only a material item but not a child.  So back

Life is full of Broken Cookies

An elderly lady came to a grocery shop searching for  cookies for her tea party.   The re was a man stocking cookies on the shelves .   T he lady waiting shouted out loudly ,,   "Each of these boxes of cookies are broken."  I can not take these.   How can you sell broken cookies?   As she explained to the man  I need to speak to the manager now.   Shortly the store manager arrived to c al m down the lady.   She blurted out, "How can I purchased these cookies they are all broken?"  Just what would my friends think?"   As the store manager explained to the lady  these cookies may be broken but they are good.  Still this lady demanded the manager  remove all these broken cookies  and discard them to the trash.  No one will p urchase these cookies, no one..    As the manager turned to the lady and then to the man  stocking the shelves that he remove each box of broken cookies. The man stocking the shelf s hook his head   a nd

Every Child's Life Matters

On the 25th of April as the 5th Anniversary of our little Gennie~beane earning her wings.  Many days I think of what she would have been like as she grew up.  Today she would have probably spent the day outside on this beautiful Sunday.  Gennie loved dresses and would have dressed herself in the most filly of all her dresses.  She did not like getting dirty and hated her shoes to get wet.  She loved to pretend to be a princess and she loved cotton candy. In the afternoon she would wait by the window watching for her daddy to come home. Most of her days we spent coloring in her color book and practicing writing her name over and over.  Gennie loved to draw flowers and kittens.  She loved her kitty and she loved to ride in her pink wagon down the street to visit her little friends.. Everyone called her beane since her favorite food was beans.  At breakfast time she wanted beans and for dinner beans.  This little girl was a toot and a little drama girl.. Most little girls her age loved to
