FBI updated :O))

Not one of Clyde's better moments..
Today we drove 30 miles to our Local Sheriff station to be finger printed once again.  Praying this will be the last and final time our fingers have to be printed.  Each time you  think it might get easier but my fingers just can not seem to relax.  So far just this adoption we have been ink printed three times and had bio~metric once for USCIS.  With each set of fingerprints means additional costs to our adoption.  The updates alone have added up quickly and we will still have to notarize and apostle each document.  With 60 or so documents it is adding up quickly at $20 a piece for notary and $20 for apostles.  SO a big hunk of our savings we have set back for our trip.  Once our dossier is submitted we will be working towards raising the funds we need to travel with.  And with two new little ones this means two of everything from Airlines, Child's Visas, Children Medicals, Immigration fees and the list goes on and on.  Every dollar so far has came from our savings.  Not one penny from donations have been used.  Funds raised will be used while in country and for travel to and from their country.  So I ask everyone to please donate either to our Paypal account or our Reeces Rainbow FSP. On our blog is a donation button where you can directly send funds to both Reeces Rainbow and our Paypal account.

UPDATE ON TODAY'S NEW FEES

$  60.00 for finger prints,
$130.00 to Accurate Biometrics
$  12.00 postage to ship the fingerprints.
$202.00        :O(((  from savings

This time around we will need to get two  sets of clearances each for our dossier.  So this means extra fees added on.
Once our clearances ~RAP SHEETS are return we then send them to be apostle. We will be waiting till our FBI clearances to be returned. Once received we can all update the remaining documents & have them reviewed.
Then they are shipped to our children's country where they are registered and we are given a date to travel.

Please pray for our children during this time they stay healthy and well.

UPDATE ON OUR JOURNEY

What a day, after a long night drive to get our fingerprints done.   And six hours in a car with your hubby gives you plenty of time to catch up talking about things that we need to be completed before we travel.  We had stopped for a while to get some diner and as we went to check out the man sitting behind us had paid for our dinner.  The odd thing he never said anything to us, he only kept waving at Jake and smiling.  Jake is JAKE, you don't even have to know him without falling in love with him.  Jake is non-verbal but always smiling and giggling.  Our family is so proud of Jake he is a fighter.  Jake 5 years ago weighed under 15 pounds at age 5 and a half years.  Now barely weighting 48 pounds and turning 10 march 1st.  A child we were told would died within six months after adopting sits smiling and laughing.  Daily he struggles with his Cystic Fibrosis.  Jake's major issues are his digestive system where he can not absorb the...

No words

There are just some days where there are no words that can  take away from pain and heart ache. This pass week we were robbed, our precious cat got ill, once again funds lost.  Still we are blessed.  A neighbor is killed by two young man breaking into a neighbors car, a man loses his girlfriend and his unborn son a day before his child is delivered.  My friend's baby girl has open heart surgery and she waits outside the recovery room, a baby boy takes his last breathe and my son struggles to live another day. Very hard to understand why bad things happen to good people and little children.  A 14 year old girl with a headache dies within three days of being diagnose with a rare form of cancer.  Her mother struggles to understand why her daughter had to be chosen to earn her wings.  So much potential, and such a beautiful young woman with the kindest heart.  Today I watched as my 5 year old daughter looks into a mirror and then ask if her doctor ...

Father's Day

With everything happening I did not know what day it was. Whether it was Saturday or Sunday.  Sitting calculating funds and mark off the day till Wednesday. The day we find out about our children's passports. Our Gotcha Day was rushed.  What was suppose to start with paperwork on a Monday went to Wednesday which caused us delays getting home. The system here is totally a mess. They deliver passports only one day a week to Donetsk.  Then they will be forwarded to Kiev.  Even expedited they are delayed.  A country of unexpected issues or problems.  Children lay dying when families are available.  Funds stand in the way even when a family saves for 5 years still they are short.  Without the love and support of others. Being short of funds not just my biggest worries.  Children at home needing their mom.  A young boy who had been through so much anger and abuse.  Eleven years to work on.  Erasing the nightmares of prior medica...
